lyrics
My friends call me when they're feeling low
We talk quietly for hours and walk the room
Flowers growing in a coffee can
Our lives are wonderful and sad sometimes
I'm so happy I could cry
A bowl of plums on the table
I'd like someone's arms around me now
Tell me that I'm pretty that my mouth is soft
Flowers growing in the floorboards of your house
Tell me that I'm worthy that my heart is good
I'm so happy I could cry
A bowl of plums on the table
I dreamed I was in an empty field
You slept soundly in a wooden boat
Flowers growing all around me where I stepped
Church bells ringing in the iron clouds
I'm so happy I could cry
A bowl of plums on the table

A heartbreaking album that shows tremendous courage and inspires listeners to tell those who are fucking with us to fuck off forever - - amazing sound worlds, direct and powerful songs Ben Seretan
I really love this album. The way the melodic/harmonic motifs seem to have these slight variations and overlap in different ways is constantly fascinating. Also the drum rhythms are just so cool. Also the sort of “found sound” stuff, like the typing and writing sounds, adds really nice texture. Nick Joliat
My god, what an absolutely incredible Suite. I'll admit, I've struggled to get into Pharoah Sanders due to diving headfirst into some of his most challenging catalogue and that never worked. This is the perfect place to restart. Floating Points is new for me and I can honestly say I've never heard synthesizer music this lush and organic before. the LSO is just perfect. This is one of those albums that any serious music fan needs in their life. The perfect swan song for the great Pharaoh! 5/5 ClassyMusicSnob
